Introductions

Fri Feb 12, 2016 7:41 pm

Greetings! Welcome to libroot.

This thread is just a consolidated thread for everyone to introduce themselves. That said, I'm the founder of libroot. I created the site with the idea of information being the core of the site. Computers/programming/hacking have been a very large part of my life for quite a few years now, and I like the idea of having a community where people can share my passion.

I have done a lot of work with websites, web development, and web pentesting. Since the beginning of my computer venture, I have naturally been drawn toward things dealing with the "web", which is part of the reason I moved forward with this site. I do a lot of coding with PHP, Perl, Python, and some C. There are other languages that I'm looking into (for instance, Swift) and some other areas of hacking that I like to work with. But for the most part, that sums me up.

Non-hacking related, I'm a big fan of music. I do some gaming (nothing hardcore). Other than that, meh.

There isn't much to say about me yet. My career is rather short, I started coding in September and got interested in hacking a few weeks ago. I've already tried to teach myself PHP some months ago, but without any challenges and applications I forgot everything I had learned really quickly. Finally I've found exactly that kind of motivation I was looking for in hacking and I learn more and more every day just by reading articles and trying stuff out. There's a whole new world opening to me at the moment.
Like any other normal teenager I'm really into gaming, but I also play the piano in a band. I like reading a lot, particularly I enjoyed “A Song of Ice and Fire” (since you're already reading this post, why don't you try it ^^).
I came here because of your article about SQL injections and stayed because of future ones to come. :D
